METHODS OF OPTIMIZING THE ENERGY SYSTEMS

1. Getting rest through sleep

-The lack of sleep may cause tiredness, grumpy, or lethargic feeling.

2. Stress reduction

-Stress reduces the ability to switch off and rest, thereby can be a source of tiredness.

3. Regular exercise

-Regular exercise help boosts energy levels, especially for people having an inactive or sedentary
lifestyle.

4. Stop or avoid smoking or taking too much alcohol

-The lung efficiency is reduced by tar and toxins in cigarette, and alcohol induce drowsiness, also
makes a person feel tired

5. Eat good food

-Taking nutritious diet will supply the nutrients the body needs for optimum performance

6. Foods with added sugar should be avoided

Sugar is taught to result in an immediate, but short-term boost of energy followed by an energy
slump or noticeable decline

7. Take sufficient amount of water

- Dehydration can cause fatigue or anxiety

8. Build social networks

- Being socially active improves physical and mental health
