Stamina is the long-lasting ability of the human organism
to fight fatigue within a certain time limit, where
activities are carried out with high intensity (high tempo,
high frequency, and always use power). The lungs, heart,
nerve centers and skeletal muscles work hard in doing
stamina
According to WHO (1974) Illness is a
condition that is not balanced or perfect
for a person from the medical, physical,
mental, social, psychological aspects and
not only in circumstances but also in
things.
the way to restore stamina after illness is
1. Replacing Body Fluids
Most of the body consists of water, when a person is sick body fluids can be reduced drastically.
Therefore, one of the best medicines to restore body fitness is to keep the body well hydrated.
Consume enough water because water is very useful to help reactivate the body system that had
weakened when sick. To replace body fluids, we increase the daily drinking dose of about eight
glasses measuring 230 ml per day or a total of 2 liters, in addition to water, fluids can be
obtained from fruits and vegetables.

2. Increase Intake of Nutritious Foods


Good nutritional intake can help speed up the body's immune system to recover. The immune
system functions to build the body's protection from viral or bacterial attacks.Choose foods that
are easier to digest so your body doesn't have to work too hard during this recovery period.
Increase your intake of nutritious foods, such as vegetables and fruit. Avoid processed foods,
sugar, or artificial sweeteners. Good food sources can certainly restore energy after illness.
3. Get enough sleep
To overcome the complaint of a weak body after the next illness, you are
recommended to get enough sleep, which is for 7-8 hours every night. During sleep,
the energy in the body is easier to recover and the repair of tissues and body cells
works more optimally. Even if you lie down most of the time and sleep during the day
when you're sick, try to maintain a good sleep pattern. get enough sleep recommended

4. Maintain Physical Activity

In fact, stress can affect the mind. 'if someone thinks sick then that person will be
sick', and vice versa. So, try to manage stress well. It would be better if you could be
free from stress.
6. Walk in the Morning Sun
A study shows that walking outdoors in the sun for a few minutes in the morning can
improve mood and memory skills. In addition, vitamin D obtained from sunlight will
help boost the immune system. Complaints of a weak body after recovering from
illness can also be handled.
7. Light Exercise
Reducing physical activity during recovery is important, but that doesn't mean you
shouldn't exercise. In fact, light exercise can be a way to recharge after an illness. For
example, you can try meditation or yoga to calm your mind so that it gives more
positive energy to your body.
8. Apply a Healthy Lifestyle
To restore stamina and body fitness after illness, the next important way is to change
habits or lifestyle. Restarting healthier living habits, such as some of the things
mentioned above is very important, including quitting smoking, staying up late and
not consuming alcohol. In addition to hindering the healing process, some of these
unhealthy habits can also increase the risk of other diseases.
