1.

What are your reaction in the documentary and how did affect your perspective in our healthcare
system?

My reaction is that I’m angry and disappointed, but at the same time, I understand that the
Philippines is so poor that we don’t, have enough healthcare facilities in the Philippines,
especially in the subserves to help treat them and Yes, it did affect my perspective in our health
care because the government don’t seek or take action in this kind of situation, the people who
are not able to go to a hospital who are farther away for the health care facility they must cross
the lake at ride many vehicles just to have them diagnose, yes they have enough supply of
medicine to provide but most of the people in the subserved have a long way to go before they
went to a hospital and I think that the "Ambulansiyang de Paa" community is one of a hundred
community in the Philippines That is unfortunate that they don’t have their healthcare facility in
their community I just, hope that the government will take action in the health system to help
more people.

2. Describe a moment or scene in the film that you found particularly disturbing or moving. What
was it about that scene that was especially compelling for you?
I found it moving in that documentary is when a person have a tuberculosis and un able to move, the
people in the community work together and bring him to the hospital without payment or anything
they just want to help him recover, they work together to lift him up and cross a river and mountain to
help him get a treatment and I think that Is the most moving part in the documentary just helping
people without anything in return because they think that if they help each other their life would be a
little bit more easy because they have each other to lean on and ask for help and the thing that I
found it disturbing is that they use other treatment that is not prescribe by the doctor to help them
feel relieve even just a moment just like the person with tuberculosis they said the use coffee as a
medicine and other medicine to because they thing this kind of thing help the patient and another
thing is that their road because of the road they are unable to go to the hospital because it is so hard
to go their they have to walk for hours in a uneven road with full of dangerous creature and because
of that the people who are in really need of treatment died in the middle of the road and I find that
disturbing because they are unable to save the people because they don’t have enough healthcare
facility and the road is to long to even go there
3. If you could require one person (or one group) to view this film, who would it be? What do you
hope their main takeaway would be?

If I were to require one group it’s the government of public health I think they should see it to make
them understand that many people are suffering due to a lack of healthcare facilities and to make
them help the people in need and take more action, I know many people in the Philippines are in
need but these people are more desperate because of their condition and their home I think the
main take away is that they should make a project or program to help this people more many
communities in the Philippines are suffering just like the one in the document that the government
don’t really take action to all of them or I just don’t see it and I hope they give more supply of
medicine to those people to and to help them with all they can because many people die if they don’t
get proper treatment in time.
