CradlePoint understands how important and critical a
successful roll out plan is to your business. CradlePoint
has over 8,000 world class Field Service Engineers
(FSEs) across North America and the Caribbean ready
to deploy to any site. Our FSEs are highly trained,
specializing on product specific applications and are
highly experienced on point of sale (POS) installations
and high-profile, customer-facing locations.

Installation Statement of Work
CradlePoint project coordinators work with enterprise
companies, system integrators and partners to develop
a SOW to identify each step needed for a successful
installation. Detailed diagrams, configurations, and
testing criteria are all documented, signed, and
approved.
Any out-of-scope work is documented by the FSE and
transmitted immediately to a CradlePoint project
manager who gains approval or denial of the work
based on real-time events.

Installation & Mounting
Installation is customized to your needs. Beyond the
basic installation of positioning and mounting the
CradlePoint solution, our FSEs can create a customized
quote for installations that includes additional customer-
specific hardware. We have installation experience
beyond CradlePoint products that include POS systems
and equipment, all major network vendors, and many
other unique hardware platforms.
Cabling & Antennas
For optimal signal strength, sometimes external wiring is
needed to optimize 3G/4G and WiFi. A major benefit of
purchasing a CradleCare Site Survey is knowing ahead of
time what is needed for a successful installation.
Short cable runs of up to 10 feet are included in the cost
of the installation. However, longer cable runs may
require an additional charge.
Extended Wiring with External Antennas
When extended wiring and possible building penetration
are required, we have the capability of arranging for lifts
and equipment for outside installation according to local
code. This type of installation is quoted separately.
Configuration
WiPipe Central, our remote management platform is used
to configure change management. This tool can be used
directly by the customer or, with authorization,
CradlePoint engineers. Either way, your equipment will
be configured correctly and you remain in control.
Ancillary equipment can be configured on a per
application basis subject to the SOW.
Operational Testing
Before the FSE leaves the site, all operational testing
outlined in the SOW will be executed. Acceptance and
sign off by the appropriate customer representative is
acquired prior to CradlePoint leaving the premises.
Reporting
Customizable reporting available based on customer’s
specific test and acceptance procedures. Photos and test
results are archived for future reference.
