1. Makes groups of four (4) and use the conversation on page 77 to greet someone 0.5
arriving from a trip and conversation from page 78 to ask for someone’s vacation.

2. Uses the two conversations as models to write your own conversations. In 5.0
conversation 2 Don’t stop the conversation and answer the questions your partner is
going to ask you. Example:
Did you ….?
What did you …?
Where did you …?
When did you … ?
Answer the questions using the simple past correctly.

You have two escenarios:
Primera escena
Van a saludar a alguien que recién llega de un viaje. Pregunta como estuvo el viaje y
en la respuesta deben describir el viaje utilizando por lo menos 4 adjetivos con su
intensifier presentados en clase (pag.76)
Le ofrece ayuda con las maleta y declina la ayuda. Usar el vocabulario del libro (pag.77)

Segunda escena
Ver conversación en pág. 78
Le pregunta a alguien si estuvo de vacaciones. La respuesta es sí. Dice el lugar y
menciona por lo menos 4 actividades que hizo.
Utilizar los verbos en pasado correctamente.
Luego conteste otras preguntas que su compañero le hará para saber más del viaje:
For example: Did you ….?
What did you ….?
When did you ….?
Where did you …?

3. Includes the vocabulary to describe trips presented in class: PRETTY, VERY, SO, 1.0
REALLY, KIND OF incredible, fantastic, wonderful, awesome, comfortable, bumpy,
scary, long, short, boring, scenic, etc.
4. Uses the verbs in past correctly. 1.0
5. Record a video with the conversation. The video must be free of any interference 0.5
(noise, dogs barking, people shouting, buses running, a tv, etc.) Please do not send
only audios, it is a video, you must be in the video.
6. Uploads the video to you tube and one of the group sends to the virtual room UTEC 0.5
in the same document, the following:
1. the link of the video from you tube
2. the rubric with the names as they are in the list
3. the conversation written right after the rubric.

7. Complies with the due date: March 12, 2023. Videos out of date will be checked 0.5
under 7.0
8. Gives coherent and clear information. 1.0

CONVERSATION ONE

Katherine: Welcome back. Baby.

Gloria: Thank you, baby.

Katherine: And how are you? How was the flight?

Gloria: Well exhausted, tired, long especially after spending two hours in heaven. But I
enjoyed it, I loved the view from the heights, I saw such beautiful landscapes, the vast ocean.

Katherine: Seriously glad to hear that.

Gloria: But the landing is the least I liked, I was very scared.

Katherine: But are you okay? Do you need a hand with your bags, can I help you?

Gloria: I'm fine, and thanks for your attention.

Katherine: Are you sure? it looks like it's heavy.

Gloria: Completely Sure.

Katherine: well if you say so.

CONVERSATION TWO

Karla: Were you on vacation?

Henry: Yes, yes, I went to Peru

Karla: You're serious. You had a good time.

Henry: Incredible, I cannot believe something wonderful and unique.

Karla: What did you do?

Henry: I signed up for a tour to see the mountains of seven colors, bus ride to the lost city of
Machu Picchu, feed the llamas.

Karla: That sounds pretty good. Tell me more, it already made me want to go too, and what
other places do you recommend visiting?
Henry: What I did not mention is that I took a tour of the entire city of Cusco, and not to
mention the typical food, I was amazed with the ceviche and the salted loin. Quite
recommended.

Karla: Oh, great and when did you do it?

Henry: On the fourth day of the trip.

Karla: A very important question. Where did you stay?

Henry: You can find good and very cheap places on Airbnb.

Karla: Thanks, I'll think about it and keep it in mind.

Henry: Nice to see you again. Thanks anyway.

Karla: We're in communication, bye.
