Printed Materials
Making use of printed materials for the teaching-
 Textbooks learning process is indeed helpful and beneficial as
stated, it tends to aid the lesson in order to provide
 Magazines effective instruction for lesser effort of making and
preparing such instructional material. Aside from
 Newspapers this, on the learners’ part, learning the lesson
introduced by the teacher that is incorporated with
print materials help them control their learning
 Catalogue
through weighing and adding relevant information.
However, it is also a need to consider factors in
 Dictionary designing printed materials. generally, as a future
teacher, we need to keep abreast with the world’s
 Almanac changes; and in the process of molding the students,
we need to be resourceful and make use of the
 Encyclopedia technology for effective and interesting teaching
through the use of printed materials.

Non-Printed Materials It has been said that the classroom must be a


multidimensional environment where learning takes
 Websites place and students are encouraged to realize their
own potential.
 Internet The techniques discussed deal with the following:
(1) injecting the fun element in the learning process
 E-books through games; (2) identifying and bringing out
cultural characteristics in the textbook; (3)
dialogues; (4) supplementary materials; and (5)
 Digital/Multimedia (videos, podcast, & films)
audio- and audiovisual aids, including songs, radio,
photographs, cartoons and comic strips,
 Paintings advertisements, slides, transparencies, newspapers
and magazines, films, television and videotapes, and
 Music bulletin boards.

Electronic Materials

 CD TAPES
CD and player- can provide information on topics or
can be used for fun • Radio-can provide information
 CD Player
in emergencies, weather updates, news, and music •
TV-can be educational or not • Internet/websites-can
 Radio provide infinite amounts of information but not
everything is accurate online.
