Dear Sir/Madam,

Your application for a visit visa to the United Kingdom has been refused.

What this means for you

Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits,
however you are likely to be refused unless the circumstances of your application change.
In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.

The reasons for this decision are set out on the next page.

Yours sincerely,

MU
UKVI 05
REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0

You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.

In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for
visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor-
rules), I have considered:
 your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
 your immigration history

The decision
You have applied for a visa to visit the United Kingdom for 28 days to attend a training
course. I have considered your application against paragraphs V 4.1 – V 4.6 of the
Immigration Rules.

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:-

 On your visa application form you state that you are self-employed as a tutor and that
your total annual income is £600. You also state you receive £2,000 per year from
regular money from your family and that your spouse will pay £4,000 towards your
visit.
 To support your application you have provided letters from a study institution in the
UK, a letter from your spouse, his business licence and a self-written letter. Based on
these documents alone, I am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your
financial circumstances in your country of residence.
 The bank statement you have provided in your spouse’s name (Parsian Bank for
account number ending 9600) does not show regular salary or other deposits and
because of this it is difficult for me to determine whether regular payments are
received or the origin of any funds therein. I am not therefore satisfied the funds
shown are genuinely available to support your visit, nor that the balance of this
account is a true reflection of your usual financial circumstances. Based on the
provision of the bank statement alone, I am not satisfied that you have demonstrated
that your spouse’s circumstances are such that he can provide financial support for
you in your country of residence or pay for your intended UK visit costs. All of the
above leads me to question your circumstances, which in turn leads me to doubt your
credibility and intentions in going to the United Kingdom now.
 I have considered the evidence and information submitted in your application but I
am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your circumstances and
therefore your intentions in applying to enter the United Kingdom. This undermines
the credibility of your application to the extent that I am not satisfied that you will
leave the UK at the end of your visit; or that you are genuinely seeking entry for a
purpose that is permitted by the visitor routes (these are listed in Appendix Visitor:
Permitted Activities). Paragraph V 4.2 (a) (c) of the Immigration Rules.
