Objectives:

1. Using a protractor and comprehending angle bisectors, identify and measure angles such as
acute, right, obtuse, straight, reflex, and complete angles.
2. Understanding angle connections is critical for distinguishing complementary and
supplementary angles, as well as neighboring and vertical angles, and solving issues involving
angles.
3. Use angle ideas in real-world applications, such as addressing height and distance issues and
analyzing and interpreting data in physics, engineering, and geography.

Let’s play: I have, Who Has? Angles Game

 A whole-class game to consolidate students’ understanding of complementary and

supplementary angles.
 Print and cut the game cards. Provide each student with a card.
 The student that has the sentence ‘I am the starter’ begins the game by standing up and
reading their card.
 Once they have read their clue, the student that has the matching complementary or
supplementary angle on their card stands up and reads what is on their card.
 The game continues until the last person reads out ‘Finished’.
