Corresponding Angles.

When two parallel lines meet any other line, comparable angles are generated in
matching corners or corresponding corners with the transversal (i.e. the
transversal).

Alternate Angles

A transversal line is formed when a straight line intersects two or more

parallel lines. Certain angles are generated when coplanar lines are
intersected by a transversal. They are referred to either internal or exterior
angles. The two parallel lines intersected by a transversal form alternate
angles.
