The Fog Prince

 The Princess - The Princess portrayed as a round and dynamic character. She is ungrateful and
greedy at the beginning of the story but towards the end, she has developed kindness.
 The Frog Prince- The Frog Prince is a round and dynamic character as well. He begins as a frog,
but thanks to the Princess’s generosity, he changes back into a prince.
 The King- The King is often portrayed as a flat character. During the story, he doesn’t really
change.

Hansel and Gretel

 Hansel – He is a round and dynamic character. An evolving character that experiences


transformations throughout the story. Originally a helpless child abandoned in the forest with his
sister, he develops into a more resourceful and clever character as the story goes on.
 Gretel – Is also a round and dynamic character. Gretel is a character that evolves as the story
goes, much like her brother. She begins as a scared and vulnerable sister, but she grows more
confident and smart as she outsmarts the witch and saves her brother’s life.
 Stepmother - Flat and static character, who never develops. She abandoned her stepchildren in
the forest, showing that she is heartless and cruel.
 The father – Also flat and static character same as his wife. He is a character that stays the same
throughout the story. He is shown to be helpless weak and easily swayed by his wife.
 The witch - A stock character who embodies the common perception of witches in folklore. She
is murderous, evil and manipulative.

Little Red Riding Hood

 Little Red Riding Hood – A round and dynamic character. She is a character who changes a lot in
the story. At first, she is innocent and naïve, but after meeting the wolf, she becomes more careful
and smart.
 The wolf – Stock Character. As it knows for being a bad character who tricks people.
 Little Red Riding Hood’s mother - Static Character, who doesn’t change much during the story.
 The Huntsman – Flat character, who doesn’t have much personality in the story. He only appears
to save Little Red Riding Hood.
 The Grandmother – Static character who doesn’t change much during the story either. She stays
the same from the beginning to the end

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs


 Snow White – Dynamic character she changes throughout the story from being helpless to being
strong and independent.
 The Evil Queen – Static character a bad character in the story who is jealous and vain.
 The Seven Dwarfs -Dynamic character, a group of miners who help Snow White and protect her
from the Evil Queen.
 The Prince – Static character, who falls in love with Snow White and saves her with a kiss. He
does not change throughout the story.
 The Magic Mirror – A tool that the Evil Queen uses to measure her beauty. It is a static character
who does not change throughout the story.

The Three Little Pigs

 The Three Little Pigs – They are dynamic characters as they undergoes transformation throughout
the story, from naïve and carefree to resourceful and brave.
 The Big Bad Wolf – A stock character. He’s a character that we see often in fairy tales and stories.
However, he’s also a dynamic character because he tries different ways to catch the pigs. He
changes his tactics and strategies to try to defeat the pigs.
 The Mother Pig – A static character as she does not undergo any significant changes or
development throughout the story.
