the Thyroid Clinic of the UP-PGH Medical
Center.
Alfredo V. Lagmay, Ph.D.
pursued a lot of studies relating to experimental
analysis of behavior, behavior modification, relaxation and related
studies, and hypnosis. He is also member of prestigious learned
societies here and abroad including the International Council of
Psychologists, American Psychological Association, and the
International Association of Applied Psychology.
Julian A. Banzon, Ph.D.
- Dr. Banzon has done a great deal of work on local
materials especially coconut as the renewable and
alternative source of chemicals and fuels. His work
on the production of ethyl esters from sugarcane and
coconut is the first study on fuels from these crops.
He also devised some novel processes noteworthy
among these is the extraction of residual coconut oil
by chemical, rather than by physical pr ocesses.
