Rules and T Mechanics

1. The churches can choose any type/genre of


SHOW presentation. (e.g. Singing, dancing, acting, etc.)
2. All churches/groups will be given time to rehearse
before the actual show.
3. Acts will be allotted no more than 5 minutes to perform, points will be deducted for any minute
incurred after the 5 minutes.
4. Acts will receive a .5-point deduction for any portion of thirty (30) second increments outside the
allotted time. (For example, a piece timed at 8:12 would receive a half-point deduction from the
total score. A piece of 8:42 would receive a deduction of a full point from the total score.).
5. Strictly NO profanity or vulgar words and actions of any sort is allowed.
6. Keep the attire at a respectable and tasteful level.
7. Scoring will be based on the following criteria:

Criteria

 Stage Presence & Professionalism – 25%


o Overall confidence, poise, and ability to communicate with audience.

 Technical Ability - 25%


o Voice quality, pitch; use of instruments or props; technique; choreography, rhythm,
coordination.

 Mastery and Cooperation – 20%


o Evidence of practice, memorized songs and actions, participation of members

 Appearance/Costume – 15%
o Appropriate and supportive of act, posture, gracefulness

 Creativity – 15%
o Novelty, uniqueness, originality of act; creativity in delivery of act
