Quality Consciousness Quality Conscience

- Consciousness refers to the state that a
person is awake and alert and able to
understand what is happening around them.
Examples, investors have a consciousness of
risks or athletes are conscious of being role
models for young people.
- Quality consciousness refers to being aware
of the importance of quality, and the needs
for excellence in everything we do. It's not
about being perfect but striving for high
standards that make our work and lives more
satisfying.
- Quality Consciousness is a state
of being aware of the need
for quality.
- Conscience refers to a state of awareness or a
sense that one's actions or intentions are either
morally right or wrong, along with a feeling of
obligation to do the right thing. Cartoons often
personify the conscience as a proverbial
angel/devil pair who talk into the ear of an
indecisive character, encouraging him or her to
follow either a path of moral virtue or of moral
corruption.
- Quality conscience is doing the right thing, not
just because it is the right thing to do, but also
because it is the thing that we want to do. It is
acting with integrity and making choices based
on our values.

moral understanding of doing

no one is looking.

A company with a quality conscience understands that its reputation is

everything. It knows that if it doesn't treat its employees, suppliers and
customers fairly, then it won't be able to sustain itself for long. In
addition, it realizes that if it doesn't take good care of the environment,
then it won't survive either. Therefore, it chooses to do the right thing
because it wants to be the kind of business that other businesses look
up to.
Moreover, a quality conscience business cares about its employees,
partners, suppliers, customers and the planet. Also, a quality
conscience business always strive to do the right thing – even if it’s not
the easy thing!
