Module 2 Lesson 2.1: Reproductive System of the Chicken

1. Draw and label the parts of the male reproductive system. (2 points each; any missing
information will have no corresponding points).
2. Draw and label the reproductive tract of female birds. You may download an image from the
internet as a reference, but make sure to make a figure of your own. (maximum points are 10, a figure
with missing information will only have a corresponding five points)
3. Enumerate, and at least in one sentence, provide a function of each part of the male and female
reproductive organs. (2 points each; any missing information will have no corresponding points)

- Male -Female

Testes - pair of organs that produce sperm. Ovary – produces the ova (yolk).

Vas deferens - is the duct through which sperm Infundibulum - Picks up the yolk and fertilized
