To Whom It May Concern:

In August, I purchased a new Dell XPS 17 laptop for the new school year. The setup experience

was smooth, and I was ready to attend live class in no time at all. Unfortunately, I soon

discovered that the glue adhering the rubber feet to the laptop case has weakened and the rubber

feet have fallen off.

This problem has made the use of my laptop difficult. Whenever I move my laptop horizontally,

the rubber feet detach from the laptop. This exposes the metal below the feet which can damage

the table my laptop is usually on. The lack of rubber feet also makes my laptop unbalanced and

hard to type on. This causes frustration and forces me to reattach the rubber feet every couple of

minutes with whatever glue is left.

While the laptop itself works effectively, the problem with the rubber feet is causing me to regret

having purchased the computer. I would like for you to mail me replacement rubber feet to

resolve my issue along with an adhesive that will be able to withstand regular use. I look forward

to hearing back from you with details about how I can have the necessary repairs made to my

laptop.

Sincerely Yours,

Caleb Painter
