RESOLUTION
1. THE OVEN

 Role : the role of the oven is to heat a material in a laboratory.

 Advantages : firstly, an oven is laboratory equipment which allows elements to be heated at

regulated temperature by atmospheric pressure or vaccum underpressure of a material ; it
also makes it possible to dry, sterilize and keep a material hot.

 Disadvantages : the disadvatanges of an oven in a laboratory is at the level of verification,

once a material is placed in an oven, it is strietly requested to check it at all times in order to
avoid the calcination of the material.

2. THE GRANDING MACHINE

 Role : the role of the grinder is to test the concrete.

 Advantages : it improves breaking results (reduction of the standard deviation and increase
of the compressive strength), facilitates the management of the stock of specimens to be
broken, stops the use of sulfur.

 Disadvantages : when the branch axis is vertical, cup wheels are used in flat surface grinding
operations and the grinding operation will be the traces of the grinding wheel passing over
the surface itself-same.

3. THE STOPWATCH

 Role : the step watch is an instrument whose role is to measure the position of an object at
precise intercals of time.

 Advantages : it has the advantage of an immediate, and sometimes static stripping of the
object. The results can generally be transferred via a computer, which avoids re-entry errors.

 Disadvantages : the main faults of the stopwatch are the lack of precision and the need to
have a co-pilot.

4. THE TESTING MACHINES

 Role : his role is to carry out the tests in a laboratory .

 Advantages : the testing machine is used to carry out restance tests in traction, compression,
bending, peeling, shearing in order to characterize the materials, whether metallic, plastic or
composite, but also on components and finished parts.

 Disadvantages : it has the disadvantages of long machining times, for the operation of the
machine, qualified and specialized personnel are necessary, there are also significant
operating and maintenance costs.

5. THE GRADUATED BURETTE

 Role : the graduated burette has the role of delivering a volume less than or equal to the
maximum capacity.

 Advantages : it has an advantage in terms of precision of the desired dosage.

 Disadvantages : are disadvantages if the reading is badly done at the level of the
graduations, all the dosage will be badly done.
