I live in a house.

2.1/ If you live in house, does it have a garage/ pool/ balcony/ yard?

My house doesn’t have a garage or a pool. But It has a balcony and a yard.

2.2/ If you live in an apartment, does it have a balcony?

3/ How many rooms are there in your house/ apartment? What are they?

There are 5 rooms in my house. Living room, kitchen, bath room and two bed room.

4/ Which room in your house/ apartment do you like most? Why?

I like my bed room the most . Because It is a space where I can do whatever I want such as read comic
books, play games and listen to music.

TOPIC 2.

1/ Mention some kinds of housework people often do in their family.

Some kinds of house work are do the dishes, do the laundry, clean the kitchen and make the bed .

2/ What housework do you do in your family?

I usually do the dishes and make the bed.

3/ What housework do your sister(s)/ brother(s) do?

My brother sweeps the floor.

4/ What housework do your parents do?

My mother makes lunch, makes dinner and does the laundry. My father make breakfast.

5/ Who does the most housework in your family?

I think my mother does the the most housework in my family

1/ What is the name of your hometown?

The name of my hometown is Da Nang.

2/ Where is it?

It is in the center of Viet Nam.

3/ Is it a town or a city?

It is a big city.

4/ What is it famous for?

Da Nang is famous for the beaches. The beaches have long golden sand, deep blue sea and fresh
coconut.

5/ What is the weather like?

It’s very hot in the summer, but the winter is usually very pleasant.

6/ What do you like about it?

 I really like the sea. I find walking on the beach early in the morning very enjoyable. And another good
thing is the people, because they’re very friendly and generous.

There are …. subjects. They are math, english, literature, physical education, music………….

I like English and math.

3/ What subjects don’t you like?

I don’t like IT and PE.

4/ What’s your favorite subject? Why?

My favorite subject is English. Because I can communicate with foreigners and find a good job in the
future.

5/ What do you learn in (Maths/ Geography/ English/ P.E/…) lessons?

in Math, we learn about numbers and how to caculate them; in English, we are taught grammar and
vocab in English; in Biology, we learn about plants, animals, and even our body.

Some kinds of clubs in my school are art club, soccer club, guitar club and math club.

2. Which club do you want to sign up for? Why?

I want to sign up for soccer club. Beause I really like playing football with my friends.

3. Which club don’t you want to sign up for? Why?

I don’t want to sign up for math club because I’m not good at math.

In sports club, we play football and sometimes watch football match together.

TOPIC 8.

1. Name some famous festivals/ holidays people celebrate in Vietnam as well as many other
countries.

In Viet Nam, people celebrate Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival and Hung King Temple
Festival. In other countries , people celebrate Christmas, Hallween and Thanksgiving

2. How do people prepare for Christmas/ Lunar New Year/ Halloween/ Thanksgiving/ Mid-autumn
festival/ ..?

For Christmas people buy Christmas tree and decorate their house and decorate their Christmas
tree.

For Halloween, people decorate their house and buy some halloween candy and buy Halloween
costumes.

3. What do they do during this festival?

Children often wear scary costumes to visit friends and neighbors. They knock on their
neighbor’s doors to ask for sweets or try to trick them by yelling “Trick or Treat” when the doors
open.

4. What’s your favorite festival? Why?

My favorite festival is Tet . because In Tet, I can visit my relatives and my friends to have meals
or chatting. I aslo receive lucky money from older people.
