Guidelines for social studies SBA

Chapter 1

Introduction- talk about the issue that is taking place in the community

Statement of the problem- this should be written in a question form, one question should be
written. It has to be specific for a particular area.

Research questions- 4 or 5 research questions, these are questions that will serve as guidelines.

Method of data collection- the questionnaire or interview, the advantage and disadvantage of the
method you used to collect the data.

Instrument used to collect data

Procedures used to collect data- how was the sample chosen, the respondents by a means of
(simple, random, etc.) who u giving the questions to, the age, when u collecting it back if there is
a specific gender it was given to

Presentation of Data- this would take the form of graph, charts, pie chart, diagrams. Your data
should be presented in at least 3 ways. NB: all research questions must be in diagrams. (Research
question must be in the questionnaire.)

Interpretation (why) and Analysis of Data- under each diagram u have your analysis, simple and
straight forward.

Finding and conclusion- 3 findings (three things u have found out which can be backed up in the
SBA.)

Recommendations- 2 recommendations and the 3rd recommendation is a solution to one of the


recommendations
