everyday resilience, they may have a greater sense to control

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Generally, this study aims to determine extents of academic

bouyancy and the level of comprehension skills of grade 10
students of ABP-BHS.

Specially the study will seek to answer the following

questions:

1. What is the extent of academic bouyancy in terms of;

1.1 Academic engagement

1.2 Self-efficiency

1.3. coordination

1.4 Commitment

2. What is the level of comprehension skills in terms of;

2.2 Vocabulary

2.3 Making inferences

2.4 main idea

3. Is there a significant relationship between academic

bouyancy and the level of comprehension skills of the grade 10
students of Araceli B. Pantilanan-Bacawan High School for the
school year 2022-2023?

4. Is there a significant differences between and among the

level of comprehension skills of Grade 10 students ABP-BHS for
the school year 2022-2023?
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

Extent of academic bouyancy Level of comprehension skills

1. Academic engagement 1. Vocabulary

2. Self-eficacy 2. Making inferences

3. Coordination 3. Main idea

4. Commitment

As shown the figure above the independent variable of

academic bouyancy including academic engagement, self-eficacy,
coordination, commitment and the variable is improved the
learning comprehension skills in grade ten students.

SCOPE LIMITATION AND DELIMITATION OF THE STUDY

This study is limited only from grade ten students of ABP-

BHS. One of the weaknesses of this study is ineffective time
management, time management is associated with greater academic
performance and lower levels of anxiety in students,
unfortunately the same research also uncovered that of students
find it hard to find a balance of between their studies and their
day to day lives and worse, that ineffective time management was
associated with outcomes like poor sleep patterns, and increase
of stress. Effective time management can be especially difficult
on a distance learning environment, where students are challenges
to face themselves without the support from friends and peers
that would help them stay focused. Next, lack of instant of
communication happens instantaneously making it easy for students
to get answers and clarify points of confusion. In an e-learning
setting communication is often asynchronous, which means there
gap between teacher and students. And last share time for apps
and resources for students effective fundamental skill for
distance learner's . Encourage your students to take advantage of
the numerous times management apps and resources that are
available.

STATEMENT OF HYPOTHESIS

1. There is no significant difference between academic

bouyancy and level of comprehension skills.

2. There is no significant relationship between the extent of

academic bouyancy and level of comprehension skills.

Review of related literature

This chapter present a discussion on differetliterature which are

significant to the present.

Related literature

According to (Macintyre and Gregersen, 2021), has been

focused on the fact that is not just negative emotion such as
boredom , burnout and anxiety that affect the process of learning
and teaching methods. However they both negative and positive.

Colmar et Al. 2019 through his the important to understand

the process is to give us starting point for the appropriate
support of the students to better performance.

According to Yun et Al. 2019 bouyamcy can be considered as a

way through which the apogee's and perigees of learning can be
negotiated and everyday challenges, facing while learning
distance. The reasons lies in the fact when students are utterly
motivated they are more likely to be more engagement of the
setbacks they may encounter in their process of learning and they
express a proactive way of coping with difficulties, hence a
solution to the problem can be raised. To be more precise , being
bouya any have a possitive impact on the way behave in face of
academic difficulties, for instance when the received grades of
the exams are poor when stress oflevel increases ovwing to being
under the pressure of daily routine when they feel suffer from
lack of motivation and interest and when students are given
negative on their poor performance.

Previous research has linked academic bouyancy to various

students outcomes such as schools satisfaction (Hoferichter et Al
2021) high hope enjoyment ( HHirvonem et Al 2020) everyday
academic advertising is less likely to cause a drop in
performance for students with strong academic buoyancy. Putwain
et Al 2020 motivational variables have been found to influence
academic buoyancy and academic achievement.

According to Drmir 2019 Learners are more like to attend

class when they are supported by their teachers and regular
attendance with more time to build close relationship with
teachers can contribute to consistent attendance and improvement
and motivation. Social support has an important function in
reducing distress because it improves self value societal self-
esteem and since that they can manage time flow of life.
Educators ought to keep in mind there role as the main social
support source for learners who can create a structured
cooperative and autonomous supportive classroom setting that
meets learner's underlying psychological requirements and
academic motivation. (Ryan and Deci 2020)

RELATED STUDIES

the bouyancy of the students which is a personality traits that
enables people to reduce the effects of stress while performing
something.

thought have an enormous impact on academic aspect of their
lives(Zhang 2021 et Al.)

the role of teacher interpersonal variable namely "teacher care,
credibility immediacy and stroke in student academic engagement,
success and motivation has been discussed and it was revealed
that those variable are the facilitators of students academic
outcomes.
