3.Describe three learning styles in children an appropriate environment for each.

Visual Learning Style: In regard to this learning style, children need to see information

in order to comprehend and learn information. The appropriate learning environments for

visual learners should have a multitude of pictures and illustrations that showcase

classroom rules and other aspects of the classroom instruction. That is verbally spoken to

the class should be accompanied by a corresponding handouts, diagram, and other visuals

to assist the visual learners (Roell, 2019).

Kinesthetic learning style: Kinesthetic learners in the classroom benefit from touching

and manipulating items to learn. An appropriate learning environment for kinesthetic

learners would be an environment where there's a lot of movement and hands-on

activities. Educators can implement music and dance into the classroom. By doing these

educators can offer kinesthetic learners the opportunity to follow basic movement

patterns. Manipulatives are also a great tool for kinesthetic learners because it gives the

students the opportunity to move their fingers and make their own models when

completing activities (Kinesthetic Learning Style -, n.d.).

Auditory learners: These are learners who would rather listen than read when learning

something new in the classroom. The appropriate environment for a auditory learner is an

environment that offers. Emphasized oral instruction. Open readings would also benefit

auditory learners., reading with an auditory learner educator can. Provide an appropriate

environment along with a challenge by reading softly so that students. Must concentrate

to understand (Auditory Learning Style, n.d.).

4.Describe three activities that enhance curiosity, exploration. And problem-solving

a. Puzzle play. Allows for curiosity, exploration, and problem solving. Puzzle play

encourages exploration because kids are actively exploring each piece to see if they are

going to match. This coexists with the element of problem solving by helping children.

“Develop problem solving skills to figure out how to put the pieces together. Puzzle play

encourages curiosity by having the children actively guess what the image is. Their

opinions can change throughout the duration of the puzzle until the puzzle is complete.
b. Dialogic reading. Is a read aloud strategy that helps make the child become the reader of

the story. By putting the child in the front seat and guiding them to tell the story,

educators are given the ability to enhance curiosity, exploration, and problem solving.

Educators are given this ability through. So adult child interactions. Educators can follow

the PEER sequence (Whitehurst, 2013) to ask open-ended questions and expand the

child's understanding as well.

c. Construction play enhances a child's curiosity by having the child play in groups where

they can discuss their creations. Construction play can enhance exploration because

children can construct. Obstacle courses that they're friends can go through to explore.

Construction play enhances problem solving because students are not always going to be

able to build in the ways that they want; So children will need to problem solve to find

new ways of building.
