 The Global Performance and Analysis - Business Intelligence team is responsible for

providing analytical insight to the company by managing a multi-dimensional database and


reporting environment in support of worldwide internal MasterCard needs.
 We generate data marts in Essbase that are accessed via a web based front end tool
(MyMPA) which provides standard and adhoc reporting access to performance data for
about 1,700 internal users throughout MasterCard.
 We are seeking a technical analyst who can ensure server uptime, develop in Essbase BSO
and ASO, and turn requirements into finished deliverables
 This team member must be comfortable in managing in our Essbase and Windows Server
environment and working with a diverse group of teams, especially IT.

Role

 Develop and deploy Essbase solutions with best-in-class coding practices


 Manage the technical components of the department’s compliance with audit requirements.
 Educate yourself constantly on the latest in Essbase technology and related technologies.
Bring new, robust technical solution possibilities to the team.
 Liaison with the internal groups in MasterCard Operations and Technology to ensure our
solutions remain in compliance with MasterCard technical standards. Navigate O&T
requirements around change management and new development.
 Be a Level 2 resource that is comfortable diving deep into solutions and process
flows/breaks.
 Be recognized as a functional CPQ expert.
 Communicate with all levels of client resources across project management, executive needs,
sales, pricing, order, and billing teams.
 Provide strategic direction for the Salesforce system and work with various stakeholders to
establish and implement best practices with regards to system configuration, unit testing,
maintenance, security and access controls, and data integrity
 Administration of the Salesforce environment including customizing and implementing,
security model, custom applications, object Management, Lightning App Builder, workflow
rules, Process Builders, Lightning Flows, validation rules, dashboards, reports, and so on
 Coordinate testing and manage deployment of software updates
 Understanding of SFDC functionality with an emphasis on CPQ related objects in the Sales
Cloud
 Utilize leadership skills in mentoring other Salesforce Administrators, coach peer team
members and lead the solutioning
 Work in partnership with key business users, identify potential ways of improving the
efficiency and/or effectiveness of current business operations
 Build a deep technical understanding and expertise of how the order to cash business
operates departmental/divisional structure, functions, processes, procedures and current
application functionality
 Assist with the design of Salesforce solutions and project planning. Add value in all stages of
project work (definition, development, deployment)
 Deployment planning. Understanding of Automated Deployment tools Copado/Version
Control system is highly preferred
