ORIENTATION/ FAMILIARIZATION FORM

ADMIN BRANCH

The Admin branch is responsible for the administrative and technical support in
the organization. In this branch, all the transactions like making important papers
like travel orders, changing of status of the personnel, termination and providing
the assignment of each personnel. The Admin branch helps the organization to
have a smooth day to day transactions or activity. Admin Branch plans for the
personnel policies and procedures for the smooth and efficient operation of the
office. They also keep records of all the personnel’s files.

Explanation: Sa admin po ginagawa ang halos lahat ng mga importanteng


transactions, par aba siya ang backbone ng organization, responsible in terms of
changing status, termination, also they are responsible sa pagprovide ng mga
assignment ng mga personnel. And sana tama din ang pagkakaintindi ko na nasa
admin din ang mga NPU (Non- Uniformed Personnel). T

BUDGET BRANCH

Budget Branch has the responsibility to handle the budgets and financial
transaction in the organization. Also, this branch is responsible for the
reimbursement of travel orders, and provides the Itinerary of the Travels. This
Branch is important in handling the transactions about the funds of the
organization, and also approved funds or budgets for every activities and
transactions of the PCG.

Explanation: Budget po iyung naghahandle ng reimbursement ng mga travel


orders, as well as the itinerary, of course dahil budget branch ang nadhahandle
ng mga finances ng organization, sila ang mag approved ng mga budgets for the
activity and other transactions relation sa PCG.

CAREER BRANCH

Career Branch is responsible in the re- assignment, also provides the preferred
unit assignment for each personnel. Also, it helps when it comes in correcting the
serial numbers, and provides information about the promotion. In Career Branch
is responsible for giving information about promotions and Long pay. They
provide the policies in terms of the promotion of Officer and Non- Officers
personnel. The branch conducts studies and prepares all the needed
requirements for the promotion of all the personnel.

Explanation: Yung career branch po is responsible sa re-assignment, and


promotions, pinaka importante ditto yung “promotion” para kasing yun ang main
function nya po. The, sila nagmake sure na lahat ng Officer and Non officer is
ready or prepared sa mga requirements ng promotion. Alam ko isa din sila sa ang
initiate ng training and seminars for the personnel.

STATISTICS SECTION

Statistics Section is responsible for up keeping, maintaining and updating of all


the statistical data of the PCG Officers and Non Officer, the statistical data of
retired PCG Officers and Non- Officer, even the statistical data of personnel
outside the PCG. They are the one who consolidate and maintains roster of
troops of different units. Also, the one responsible for preparing the monthly
strength report of the PCG and it maintain the files of statistical data on
personnel strength that is needed for the preparation of the budget of the PCG.

Explantion: Statistics Section po yung responsible sa pagkeep ng record ng mga


statistical data kung ilan ang numbers of PCG mapauniformed and non
uniformed, pati na yung number of officers, ilan ang mga baabeng officer at ni
officer. Pinakimportante dito yung mabanggit mop o during interview na they are
theone who prepares the strength report of PCG, meaning sila yung gumagawa
ng report kung gaano kadami ang manpower sa PCG officers or Non Officer,
ginagawa yung report para alam nila kung paano sila magplalan for the budget ng
PCG.

REENLISTMENT BRANCH

Re-enlistment Branch is responsible for all the transactions when personnel want
to be re- enlisted in the service. The branch also provides the information of the
steps on how to re-enlist. They implement all the rules and policies of
reenlistment.

Explanation: This branch po is responsible po sa mga enlisted personnel if ever


na gust nila mag reenlist. Sila yung rsponsoble sa pagbibigay ng requirements at
panigurado sa pag approved na din ng reenlistment.

MORALE AND WELFARE BRANCH


Morale and welfare branch makes sure that each employees or personnel are
getting all the satisfaction that they deserve when it comes to their leave
privilege, clothing allowance, awards and the financial assistance needs. The
branch helps the Philippine Coast Guard to provide all the supports to different
community, personnel, and the family of the personnel of the organization.

Explanation: Morale and welfare po is responsible sa pagproprovide ng mga


pangangailangan ng mga officer and non officer personnel ng PCG. Sila yung
nagplan para sa privilege ng mga personnel yung leave awards mga clothing
allowances ganun. Main point ng trabaho dito ay mapanatili nila na nasa maayos
na kalagayan at natatanggap ng mga personnel ang mga deserve nila na
allowances at benefits even n retired na sila syempre kadamay dito mga
dependents nila.

DISCIPLINE LAW OFFICE

Discipline Law Office is the one responsible for making sure that all the
employees or personnel is well- disciplined, and no administrative case. It is
responsible in making sure that all the personnel and employees are following
orders and rules of the organization. They are also the one that prepare the
recommendation for separation or punishment to Uniformed and Non- uniformed
Personnel

Explanation:

The DLO po ay ang responsible po na ipaimplement ang rules and order sa PCG,
sila yung responsible pag nagseseparate ng PCG personnel sa service, yung pag
nag AWOL sa service. Tsaka sila din yung naghahandle pag may administrative
case. Sila din yung naninigurado na sumusunod ang nga uniformed personnel at
non-uniformed personnel.
