Social Aspect of People from Dicotcotan Isabela.

Demographics;

- When we see in the slide the demographics, the demographics consists of age,
population, ethnicity of the place, culture and others.

- We all know the dicotcotan is under isabela and based on the PSA population in
Isabela is known as the most Populated province in Cagayan Valley because of
the population growth of 2.25 Percent.

Psychographics;

- Median age of 20 years

● In terms of age, Isabela is known to have 20 years of median age, this means that
about half of the total population of the province were below 20 years.

- Sex ration recorded at 105.4

● In addition, in the preference in terms of sex is recoreded as 105.4 and it means

there are more males than females below 50 years old.

- Ilocano was the most prominent ethnic group

● So why does ilocano is the prominent one, because of the total household
population, 68.71 percent classified themselves as Ilocanos, while the next
two prominent ethnic groups were Ibanag (14.05 percent) and Tagalog
(10.02 percent). Lastly, The remaining 7.22 percent were either Gaddang,
Paranan, Yogad, or were from other ethnic groups.

- FUN FACT of this:

● Palanan, Isabela became a historical place when General Emilio Aquinaldo

was captured by the American forces led by General Funston on March 23,
1901.
