The first picture is the Octagon, produced by General Electric in 1928,

was the oldest forerunner of the modern television. Images were shown on
its 3-inch screen using mechanical, spinning disc technology. Although it was
never mass-produced, it appeared in "The Queen's Messenger," widely
regarded as the first television drama ever filmed.

The second picture was a television in the year 1940s, there was no
remote control and you need to spin the channel wheel in order to change
the channel. It is a bulk tv and it is very heavy to carry. The screen was
small ranging from 10-15 inches. The electron beam "paints" an image onto
the white phosphor-coated screen by moving the electron beam across the
phosphor one line at a time.

The third picture is the present television that we have right now, we
may just hang the television on the wall because it is becoming slimmer.
Additionally, it is becoming lighter, making it easier to move and requiring
less space. HD televisions are of good quality. The specifications of this
television have a bigger screen and sometimes have a curved screen.

DEFINE BRIEFLY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Science and technology are tightly intertwined, with technological

advancements and scientific discoveries frequently advancing one another.
For instance, new scientific discoveries frequently spur the creation of new
technologies, while new scientific discoveries make it feasible to perform
new experiments, gather new data, and create new scientific discoveries.
