Introduction:
Computers and other technology have been introduced to many students in the ICT strand.
which contributes to a variety of eye diseases, one of the reasons being that students lack the necessary
technology to complete activities and tasks that a phone alone cannot perform, causing the work to take
longer to complete than it would otherwise; this is because not everything can be done quickly on a
basic android phone. According to PENN MEDICINE, The main causes of Computer Vision Syndrome
include an unsuitable environment and the improper use of eyeglasses or contact lenses. To prevent
CVS, changes need to be made to improve these conditions.
As we enter the 21st century, the growing use of computers in the home and office brings with
it an increase in health risks, especially for the eyes. One eye problem, called Computer Vision Syndrome
(CVS), is afflicting more and more people who find themselves constantly in front of computer screens.
While eye health professionals have yet to find CVS as a cause of any permanent eye damage, the pain
and discomfort associated with the problem can affect workplace performance or the enjoyment of
home activities. With a few preventative measures, however, the symptoms associated with CVS can be
easily erased. The General Ophthalmology Service at Scheie Eye Institute offers many techniques for
preventing CVS.

Purpose:
The purpose of our concept paper is to implement the use of anti-radiation glasses of every student in
an ICT track, the reasons are to prevent the different kinds of eye disease that may lead to any health
complications such as cancer etc.
AR coatings enhance the way you see the world by allowing more light to pass through the lens while
eliminating glare, so you have clear vision on the job, in the classroom, around the house, and behind
the wheel.
By removing harsh reflections from your lenses, AR coatings allow others to see you – not that annoying
glare. Whether you’re posing for a picture or video chatting with a friend, you can feel confident that
your eyes take center stage.
AR coatings protect your glasses against scratches and smudges, resulting in lenses that last longer. This
also means you’ll be replacing your lenses less frequently, which can help save you money.
Specialty AR coatings like TechShield Blue, combat digital eye strain by reducing your exposure to blue
light from digital devices and lighting. If you’re unfamiliar with digital eye strain, it’s that tired, irritated
feeling you get in your eyes after looking at a digital screen for a few hours.
AR coatings can also help protect your eyes from the sun’s damaging rays. UV protection can be added
to the backside of the lenses to defend your eyes against UV rays reflected off surfaces like sidewalks
and windows.

Description:
We want to share the details of our proposal project with the government so they can understand how
crucial it is for students, especially those in the ICT strands at Tunasan National High School, to wear
anti-radiation eye wear. since the students in this track are very exposed to the use of computers, as
well as other types of technology.
Support:
Our project will likely cost 100,000 pesos in total. This includes the cost of shipping and any applicable
taxes for the anti-radiation eyewear that will be sent to the pupils.
