Below is a checklist of school physical structure so that you are guided as to

what to observe.

1. Office of the Principal

Description:
The office of the principal is neat and clean. Given also the paint color, it
is also spacious and has its own comfort room. It is well ventilated.

2. Library
(Children’s Library)
Description:
The children’s library is a cute and enough space for the children. It has
a sofa chairs which they could be comfortable there and play some
board games. There are also available tables and chairs, a place to
study and read. The books are organized and they also have big books
with pictures which is good because children likes stories but a must
that there are pictures in it to be interesting for them. It is also well
ventilated. There is a space for the teacher or librarian. They also have
the log book. The picture of the President and Vice-President of the
Philippines can be seen the moment you entered the library together
with the picture of the President of the school.

Description:

Description:
The Graduate School Library is wider than the children’s library. It has
much more books. There are more tables and chairs to be used by the
students in studying, searching or reading. The things and books are
organized for the students to be able to see which sections the books
are placed.

3. Counseling Room

Description:
I didn’t expect that the counseling room is wide. It is good since there
are also offices of the staff. There is also sofa the moment you enter the
room. The place is spacious so whenever someone needs counseling
there is an enough space for the guests and have a privacy as well.

4. Canteen

(Small Canteen)

Description:
The small canteen located in the ILS has a lot to of food and snacks to
choose from. Personally, when it comes to variety of food and snacks, I
prefer here because there has a lot to offer. The food taste and
cleanliness are great. The only problem is that it is a little bit hot,
especially during lunch time and the place is small given a lot of
students are going there to eat and buy.

(Big Canteen/Cafeteria)

Description:
The big canteen/cafeteria are much more spacious than the first one.
However, there are still spaces available that are not occupied. It is
clean an more ventilated than the first one since it is an open area.
There are food, drinks, and snacks to choose from as well but not much
like in the small canteen.
5. Medical Clinic

Description:
The medical clinic is neat and clean. There are equipment available
especially the wheelchair in case if someone was hurt or for emergency
purposes. There is an enough space and an available bed whenever
there is a student who is sick and need to get rest and sleep. It provides
services to the students whenever it is needed.

6. Audio Visual/ Media Center

Description:
The audio-visual studio is calming. When we go there, there were
students practicing singing and playing different instruments just like
they are having a concert and it makes me want to stay there. There are
available chairs. The space is wide and it is well ventilated. It provides
comfort for the students during their practice, rehearsals, recordings
and shoots.

7. Reading Center

Description:
The reading center provides comfort for the students since there is a
space for the students to sit with comfort. There is a table available and
a vase to give a little color to the environment. It is also well-ventilated
since it is air-conditioned there.
8. Speech Laboratory

Description:
The speech laboratory is still close and under-construction. It is not yet
available to welcome visitors or the students.

9. Science Laboratory

Description:
The Science Laboratory is still not open for the students. It is still under-
construction but by looking at the place from the outside, it is a good
space for experiment and lessons for the students. There are tables and
chairs that can be used, a light, and ceiling fans for ventilation.

10. Gymnasium
Description:
The gymnasium is wide and provides an enough space for the students.
There is an available monitors which help the students at the back see
the presentation in the front. There is an enough air-condition to
maintain a good temperature whenever there is an event and a lot of
students, teachers and staffs are there. There is also an available
comfort rooms inside which makes it convenient which because there is
no need to go outside. There are also speakers, chairs, and sound
systems, stage, LED lights which enhanced the excitement and
creativity whenever there is a program or an event.

11. Auditorium

Description:
The auditorium looks fancy. The chairs and the environment looks
expensive. The place is spacious to cater the students or people
whenever there is an event or program to be held there. There is also an
elevated stage which the people at the back can still see what is
happening in front.

Looking at your draft about the school physical structure checklist,
then answer the following questions below.

1. Are all facilities available at the school campus?

Answer: No, The school campus does not have an industrial workshop
area and home economics room. However, based on the checklist
there are much more available areas to be used by the students and
teachers.

2. What are those facilities available at the school campus? How about
those
facilities that are not available?

Answer: The facilities that are available at the school campus are the
supervisor’s office which we were told that it also function as the
principal’s office, counseling room, gymnasium, auditorium,
canteen/cafeteria, medical clinic, audiovisual/media center, reading
center, library, speech laboratory, science laboratory, PTA office,
comfort room for boys and girls, computer laboratory, and bulletin
board displays. The facilities that are not available are the home
economics room and industrial workshop area.

3. Have you seen bulletin board displays at the school campus?

Answer: Yes, there are plenty of bulletin boards in the school campus.
As have observed, each has different themes and purpose. The
bulletin boards contained announcements, events, slogans or motto,
pictures and a lot more.

4. Are these bulletins safe, secure, and supportive for learning? How
about the facilities?

Answer: For me, yes, the bulletin boards are safe, secure, and
supportive for learning since the things that were posted are all
connected about the school, the events, information and such. For the
facilities, I could also consider that it is safe, secure, and supportive for
learning since all the areas were build to to be used by the students
and teachers. Since there are facilities in the school, the students and
teachers have the means to function and be able to use the spaces
alloted depends on what activity or event occur in a particular time. For
example the gymnasium, if it is not available, then the school would not
be able to push events and orientation since so it is an advantage that
there are facilities in school where we can do our tasks, events, and
etc.

The speech laboratory is still
under construction and unsafe.

The gymnasium is clean and

because most of the events are
held there. It is also accessible

not able to take photo inside as
said by the staff there.
