My Map
A general observation of the campus and the classroom is an exciting
way to start my observation.

My mission is to do the following tasks:

1. Visit a school. Look into facilities and support learning areas in the
campus, the in the classroom
2. Accomplish the checklist as you move around the school premises.
3. Based on your gathered data in the checklist, describe the school
environment.
4. Make a reflection on the characteristics of a school environment that
promotes learning
5. Present your idea of a good school environment through any of these:
Descriptive Paragraph
Photo Essay
Sketch or Drawing
More successful student outcomes may result from a positive learning
environment. According to research, a learning environment that is engaging
fosters higher levels of performance from students, boosts their attention
and focus, fosters meaningful learning experiences, and inspires them to
use more sophisticated critical thinking abilities.
At RECHAB provides a positive learning environment for the students.
Students feel physically and emotionally safe. They see the classroom as a
safe place where they can be themselves and express themselves and their
ideas without judgment. As I enter the school the first thing that I noticed I
are plants growing everywhere around the campus, including trees and
flowers, which I think contributes to the school's atmosphere that provides
fresh air. Their field has a wide planted grasses that can be used for
extracurricular activities and physical arrangements. I also noticed the
cleanliness of the school which is important for their health. Rechab also
accept students who are in different religion even though the school is
Christian school, they let the students know that they are valued and
respected, regardless of other factors such as ability, gender, sexuality, race,
ethnicity, or religion.
RECHAB also encourage student to play sports they all challenge the
student to achieve high expectations, and all students receive the support
necessary to meet those expectations. Students should feel safe both
physically and emotionally at school. The number of trees in the school
allows for fresh air and can help pupils lead healthier lives. On the wide and
well-kept school grounds, students can enjoy themselves with their friends
and fellow students. Additionally, there are lounges where students can
gather during breaks to interact with one another. The school is bright and
well-lit, which creates a happy atmosphere for all children and teachers.
These are my ideas of a good school environment was.
