TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ONE WATER TENDER/TANKER AND ONE HOSE LAYING AND
RECOVERY FIRE/RESCUE VEHICLE FOR THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO FIRE SERVICES, MINISTRY OF NATIONAL
SECURITY

TENDERS are invited for the supply and delivery of one (1) Water Tender/Tanker and one (1) Hose Laying and Recovery Fire/Rescue
Vehicle for the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services, Ministry of National Security.

Tenderers are required to pay a tender deposit of five hundred dollars ($500.00) to the Director of Contracts and attach the official
receipt to their tender.

Tender documents may be obtained during normal working hours at the Central Tenders Board’s Office, 116, Frederick Street,
Port-of-Spain. Further information may be obtained from Mr. Lennox Alfred, Chief Fire Officer, Fire Service Headquarters, Wrightson
Road, Port-of-Spain at Telephone Numbers 625-2671–5.

Tenders must be accompanied by valid Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates.

Separate contracts may be awarded for the items.

Tenders in duplicate should be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “Tender for the supply and delivery of one (1) Water
Tender/Tanker and/or one (1) Hose Laying and Recovery Fire/Rescue Vehicle for the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services, Ministry of
National Security” and addressed to the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, 116 Frederick Street, Port-of-Spain. The envelope must be
deposited in the Brown Tenders Box located in the lobby of the Board’s Office no later than 1.00 p.m. on Thursday 7th March, 2002.

Tenders will be opened publicly shortly thereafter at the Board’s Office. The tenderer or his representative may be present at the
opening.

Late tenders will not be considered in any circumstances.

The Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender.
