BACKGROUND
It has been noted that most girls in Glenview District fall pregnant before completing their O
level; this adversely affects their career paths and subsequently their future,

CALA Description

The CALA has two parts A and B which you are supposed to complete both of them

PART A

In your community find out how many girls fell pregnant before the completion of their O
level in previous years

 Research on the causes, effects of teenage pregnancy


 Design a questionnaire and give the community to find causes
 on the effects of teenage pregnancy
 Record their responses and add your own input on the effects of teenage pregnancy

PART B

Using the information in part A

 research on the solutions to teenage pregnancy


 write an article for your school magazine educating fellow students on teenage
pregnancy
 Design a poster as an awareness campaign against teenage pregnancy

HOW YOU WILL BE ASSESSED


 To assess your presentation the teacher will consider your research materials: your
questionnaire ,your article layout and poster presentation
 An Achievement Standard specific to this CALA will be provided so that you are
aware of the assessment criteria.
