Career Fair Group Programming Director participated.
CBS STATION GROUP SPONSORED EVENT CBS Television
Stations sponsored and hosted a 3-part event career fair at Syracuse
University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications. This event
included an information session, a next-generation story-telling
segment and then a career fair. During the information session, we
provided an overview of who we are, what we do, and our reach.
During the career fair, staff members met with many students,
collected resumes, and chatted with them about a future with the CBS
Television Station Group and KYW-TV/WPSG-TV.

CBS News and Stations talent strategy recruiters took part in NABJ’s 03/18/2023 Stations Talent Strategy Recruiter.
Emerging Journalists Summit & Career Fair at the Newmark School of Other CBS News Group personnel
Journalism, CUNY. This event includes networking, panels, and a
career fair in NYC. Correspondent Skylar Henry moderated the
panel Midterm Debrief: Young Black Women on the Campaign Trail,
Bonita Sostre and Senior Vice President, CBS News Streaming
Anthony Galloway, will join the panel Cross-platform reporting &
producing. Anchor and National Correspondent Errol Barnett will be
the keynote speaker. The theme of the Summit is Bouncing Back &

KYW-TV / WPSG-TV Paid Internship Program in Philadelphia is Ten (10) Summer Interns Human Resource Manager
designed to provide meaningful educational and field experience for selected for June 22, All Department Heads and sub managers
students pursuing careers in television broadcasting and related fields. 2022, through August 27,
Our internships expose interns to industry professionals and promote 2022
both your personal and career development.
Internships are approximately 10 weeks in duration and 16 hours per
week. Interns are accepted for the summer 2022 semesters and are paid
an hourly rate. Interns can join the News, and Creative Services
departments for a semester of fun and learning.

New Apprenticeship Program: CBS Applications accepted at VP/News Director


The Program exposes candidates to the various disciplines of broadcast the beginning of May Executive Producers
journalism from the assignment desk to newscast writing and 2022. One apprentice Assignment Desk Manager
producing, promotion writing, news editing to special projects. was selected for the
Apprentices work side by side with News Department professionals, program. July 2022 –
learning their craft and gaining valuable experience and knowledge. December 2022
This is truly a unique opportunity for a recent college graduate who has
a serious interest in pursuing a career in TV News. We seek
individuals who are looking to develop strong newsroom leadership
skills and have a goal to be part of a Newsroom management team.

Temple Students Tour CBS3 11/29/2022 Reporter/Multi-Skilled Journalist


Reporter guided a senior journalism class around the
CBS3 studio, where they were able to speak with
anchors, producers, and the web team about broadcast
television, and industry as a career.

KB Foundation - CBS Philadelphia Station Tour 2/20/2023 Reporter/Multi-Skilled Journalist


CBS Philadelphia hosted a group of young scholars from
KB Foundation. They toured the station and learned from
industry professionals about the various career
opportunities in media and journalism. CBS Philadelphia
decided to partner with KB Foundation's Lunch and
Learn Career Education Program, to enrich students in
multiple areas of news development.

Temple University Speaking Engagement 2/23/2023 Director, Streaming/Digital


Director, Streaming/Digital visited Temple University
and "watched a live taping of "Owl Sports Update",
which is a sports recap show produced by Temple
University students that we air on our streaming
platform." Also, spoke discussed History of Electronic
Media Course and about his experience in media.

The Pathway School's Literacy Celebration Week 3/2/2023 Anchor


Anchor read and interacted with students at the Pathway
School in-person during Read Across America Week. He
was able to speak with high school students about his
career in journalism.

Lincoln University Students Tour CBS3 3/10/2023 Managing Editor


Lincoln students toured the CBS3 station and spoke with
anchors, editors, producers, and directors about their
career in journalism.

courageous conversation – all aimed at supporting

Staff Employees courses and opportunities available to all fulltime
staff employees. Designed to enable station
personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them
for higher level positions within the company.

Staff Employees employees and managers to drive meaningful and
