The teacher enters the classroom and greets with a hello students, asks the students if
they know that it is an adjective in Spanish, which makes some students participate and
give their point of opinion and writes the brainstorm onthe board.
The teacher begins to explain in Spanish and English since the level of thestudents is
not very advanced. He writes some simple English sentences:
The students take note of the statements and later the teacher asks the studentsto
write ten sentences using adjectives. Students work individually. The teacher walks
between the rows asking the students:
students if there are doubts, some comment that they do not know English. Students
finish the sentences and the teacher stamps and records the work.
The teacher asks the student to copy the table from his textbook on a white sheetthat he
provided. While the students work the teacher passes attendance.
The class ends and the teacher leaves the painting for the next class.Class
Observation:
At the beginning of class the teacher greeted the students cordially and they reciprocated.
There was a diagnosis at the beginning of the class since the teacherasks about the
adjectives in Spanish so that there is an association of the subject with his previous
knowledge.
The teacher's voice was appropriate to the module during the fifty minutes. Some
students were dismayed because they did not understand the subject and others
distracted. As soon as the teacher's body language was shown with confidence.
The materials that I use were not of great variety and innovation, I only use the
blackboard, the textbook and the notebook. Which to do has been a traditional class,
there was no teamwork or in pairs, everything was done individually. And the textbook
was used to transcribe.
Context:
The students are low-income and most comment that they do not like the English
language because it is very complicated.
