In line with the annual celebration of National Women’s Month, with this year’s theme “WE
for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”, the members of Gender and Development Team
planned activities that shall be conducted on March 27,2023 during the flag raising
ceremony to actively commemorate National Women’s Month Celebration.

In this connection, we would like to ask permission from your office to excuse the members
of Galaw Pilipinas and GSP staff to have a short practice about the activities we had planned
including the SSG President -Lorence Joshua Sotto.

1. Relative to the annual celebration of National Women’s Month with this year’s theme
“We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society, this office prepared activities that shall
be conducted physically. All concerned are encouraged to actively participate in the said
event.

2. Teachers, Learners and other staff and members of Matalaba National High School are
encouraged to join in the event by wearing their violet t- shirt to show their support
and active participation about Women’s Month

3. Film showing The film “I am MALALA “will be shown in their respective

classroom/advisory
Class. Class advisers are encouraged to download the film(as part of their participation
and support ) ahead of time to observe the significance of women’s role in our society.
Every classroom should be the venue of film showing for 2 hours only.

4. All Matalaba NHS teachers and students are encouraged to temporarily change their
social media account profile background at least for the entire month of March using the
PCW banner downloadable via http://bitly.ws/RaWF.

5. SHS.JHS GAD Coordinators, Guidance Designates, GSP and BSP Staff,SSG officers are
advised to help in the implementation of the said activities listed.
