Newton’s Laws of Motion:

First Law of Motion or Law of Inertia.

An object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will remain in motion at constant
velocity unless an external force acts upon that object.

Inertia:
It is the tendency of an object to resist any change in its state, whether it is in motion or at
rest.

Second law of motion:

Force equal mass times acceleration. It means that to move an object force must be applied.
The more force one applies, the faster the object moves.

Third law of motion:

For every force, there is an equal, but opposite reaction.

Friction:
Friction is the force that causes the objects to slow down. The main types of friction are
Static, fluid, rolling friction, and sliding friction.

Static Friction: The force applied on the object that is not moving. It keeps the objects at rest.

Rolling friction: The force that resists the motion of a rolling body like a wheel on the ground.

Fluid Friction: The friction that resists the motion of an object in the fluid like air or water.

Sliding Friction: It resists the motion of an object when it is sliding on a surface.
