Type of Client Brief Definition


formal Minutes of a meeting will be taken, typically be expected to wear
business clothes, suitable location

informal Relaxed setting (could be on a video call), casual clothes, end with a
handshake.

Negotiated Can be formal or informal, both parties will try to come to some sort of
an agreement,

tender A company will form and post an advert and will then take offers from
other companies and you as the client will decide which company you
would like to use.

contractual A place to agree with another company and will sign a contract

Commission One company hires another company to make them a product and
intrusting intellectual property and they will usually send a person to
monitor the overall task.
