Personal statement

I am writing to express my interest undertaking a masters in organic Chemistry research for

organocatalytic research group at department of chemistry.

This university is renowned for its excellent teaching staff, scientists, facilities and research atmosphere.
I would very much look forward to engrossing myself into such a highly esteemed research environment
and would savor the opportunity to become a part of a friendly and intelligent community. This
university have many research groups who are actively working in organ catalysis.

I believe, i have qualities required for a masters candidate to cope with latest techniques and research
advancement in the field of asymmetric synthetic processes and biodegradable organ catalysis
processes. I have reviewed extensive literature and come to know that are very few research studies on
biodegradable organ catalysis synthesis from green plants.

I am always keen to do lab techniques related to nanoparticle synthesis. I have worked in a project
entitled "synthesis of nanoparticle from mentha" at University of kotli Azad kashmir Pakistan. I have
mainly focused on research work with great understanding nanoparticle synthesis. Therefore developing
of more effective methods for synthetic processes is proposed.

Besides spending time on studying and research, i have participated in a variety of social activities both
in and out of college. My capacity specifically the organizing and communicating skills, have been further
strengthened through my role as volunteer in "Alflah volunteer team" and as girls guide, where i
organized volunteer activities for example, collecting funds from philanthropist for deserving students,
cleaning wasted plastic, detecting water quality, planting, DBSL( donate blood save life) and providing
first aid services to injured people for this service i was awarded with "basic first aid certificate"
certificate of participation. Now I'm looking forward meeting new challenges that are presented on
chemistry field. I make sure to take responsibilities and work seriously throughout my research work.

I completely believe that all of my academic capabilities and dedication for chemistry would certainly
make me a perfect candidate for university study. I am hard working individual who always strives to
perform to the fullest potential which i firmly believe are attributes that are indispensable in a master
level position. A master degree will enable me to further enhance these traits and deepen my
knowledge in relation to my research work which are essential for achieving my further career goals
with this being said, i am striving to obtain a professional career so, the attainment of Master level
degree is an essential venture for me.
I believe university of Nottingham the perfect institution to prepare me for obtaining these goals and i
would be very proud to develop here both on a personal and academic level.
