REFRACTOMETRY OF MONGGO POLVORON

I. INTRODUCTION
A refractometer is an optical device that takes advantage of the fact that light passing
through a liquid bends or refracts. The refractometer is a tool. It is used to help you select
higher quality of foods containing more vitamins and minerals. They are also used to
determine the concentration of dissolved solids in a solution. And also, the refractometer
is a well-established instrument used for measuring the water content of liquids. It
measures the refractive index of the liquid, which changes according to the moisture
content.

II. OBJECTIVES
1. To determine the total amount of sugar in food samples.
