confidence. It also highlights the need of active involvement in family life. The young seagull in
this story could make his first flight only with the support of his family. Our fears in life could be
overcome with the support and guidance from our family . The young seagull could make his first
flight only be overcoming his fear. Thus the title “His First Flight” is really apt for this story.

Ans) The title “I Will Fly” is really apt for the speech done by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. The title is
really a motivational one. The title ‘I Will Fly’ is taken from a beautiful ancient poem named, “I
Will Fly”. Dr A P J Abdul Kalam recited this poem in response to the question asked by a teenager
from a far away village. Dr A P J really motivates the boy by reciting the poem. The poem ends with
the line ‘I will fly, I will fly and fly’. Thus the title given to this speech is really apt. It motivates all
the youth alike.

The poem deals with the human qualities and personality traits needed to become successful in our
life. The poet advises his son John how to be happy and how to be a perfect a man. If one is to
become a perfect man, so many conditions are to be fulfilled. So the poet sets a lot of conditions
using the conditional clause ‘If’. So the title is very apt.

talks about the coming of Mahatma Gandhi into Indian politics and how it shaped the course of
