I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson the students are able to:


a. Narrate the life and works of the romantic composers
b. Identify the contributions of the notable romantic composers in the
development of music during this period
c. Listen perceptively and describe the music of the composers of the
Romantic period.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
Topic: Composers of the Romantic Period
Reference: Learner’s Guide in Music 9 (module)
Materials: Smart TV, Laptop, Manila Paper

III. PROCEDURE
a. Preparatory/Routinary activities (Prayer, attendance, review of last lesson).
b. Motivation – “Show a picture and describe what they noticed”

c. Lesson Proper
1.) The teacher will discuss the life and works of the Romantic composers.
2.) State each famous composition of each composer of the Romantic period.
3.) Play music of each composer of the Romantic period.

IV. EVALUATION
