Research Design
The researcher utilized experimental quantitative design using a survey method in this study.
An experimental research design helps researchers execute their research objectives with
more clarity and transparency.
Experimental Design involves establishing principles and rules for an experiment. The focus
is on designing the experiment so that you gather appropriate data and the analysis of the data
will give you valid inference about the subject of the research.Voxco (2022) More so, a
survey method is used to collect information from different subjects within a given
population having the same characteristics of interest. Survey research can even be used to
conduct experiments to test specific hypotheses about causal relationships between variables.
Such studies, when conducted on large and diverse samples, can be a useful supplement to
laboratory studies conducted on university students.Surbhi (2017)

Specifically, this study utilized a research approach since this study seeks to collect data
regarding the acceptability and Marketability of Kangkong Gummy Candy.
The respondents of this study will be the Grade 10 Students of Caraga State University
Cabadbaran Campus High School Laboratory. The sample size of this study consist of (no. of
students) . In selecting the sample size, the researchers will utilize simple random sampling in
collecting the data from the respondents.
In a simple random sample, every member of the population has an equal chance of being
selected. McCombes (2019) https://www.scribbr.com/methodology/sampling-methods/
This method is the most straightforward of all the probability sampling methods, since it only
involves a single random selection and requires little advance knowledge about the
population. Because it uses randomization, any research performed on this sample should
have high internal and external validity, and be at a lower risk for research biases like
sampling bias and selection bias.Tomas (2020)

Research Instrument
The researchers will use questionnaires to survey the study of Acceptability and
Marketability of Kangkong Gummy Candy in Grade 10 Students of Caraga State University
Cabadbaran Campus. The questionnaire contains Appearance,Flavor Smell and taste.
In evaluating the acceptability and marketability of the product Kangkong Gummy Candy in
Grade 10 Students of Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, the five-point Likert type
will be considered.
In gathering data, these were the steps followed, first, is the formulation of
questionnaire for this study. Next wrote a critique letter to the three experts to evaluate the
questionnaire. Then gather all the materials and ingredients for the development of Kangkong
Gummy Candy (Ipomea aquatica). Next, distribution of the questionnaires together with the
samples of the products to the respondents. Step 5: Tally all the data that were gathered from
the respondents. Step 6: Submission of raw data to the statistician for statistical treatment.
Step 7: Analyze and interpret the results of the data.
Data Analysis
To examine the acceptability and Marketability of Kangkong Gummy Candy based on the
Appearance,Flavor,Smell and taste, the collected data will analyze by the use of frequency,
The researcher observed full ethical standards in the conduct of the study and followed
the study protocol assessments and standardized criteria, particularly in managing the
Voluntary participations. All respondents are given the free-will to participate without
any form of consequence or penalty. Therefore, after the purpose and benefits of the study
was presented to the respondents, the respondents’ free-will to participate in the conduct of
the study was carefully considered and adhered upon. If at any point, participants feel
uncomfortable answering any question, they could withdraw from the survey.
Privacy and Confidentiality. The respondents’ personal and private information that
may be required in the study was kept in private and utmost confidentiality. Access to the
information was limited to individuals who actually need it for the research project. Lastly,
afforded to individuals by providing thoughtful consent for a voluntary act. In the same
manner, the research questionnaire was not administered without the permission from the
Risk. The study was only concentrating on determining the acceptability and
marketability of Kangkong Gummy Candy. During the course of research work, data or
samples were regularly collected and stored. To ensure public trust, data protection measures
need to be developed and clearly communicated to the research participants. Properly
securing the research results until publication is critical to protect the sources of information.
Moreover, measures were taken to physically protect and secure the data and computers
Plagiarism. Moreover, the researcher warranted that there was no trace of evidence of
misrepresentation of someone else’s work as his own. Proper acknowledgment and credit was
make this certain, the use of Turnitin software and/ or plagiarism detector was employed.
Fabrication. Results in the study was not presented in a way that take the findings out of
context, deceive readers, exaggerate claims or focus on smaller parts of the observation
Falsification. Furthermore, questions in the survey were not presented in a manner that it
evident on this study. Affiliations with research sponsors including direct and indirect
transparency.
Deceit. In an essence that the falsehood about the author’s identity and the nature and
true purpose of the study should be avoided, this research did not perform any deceptions.
Full disclosure of all elements relevant to respondents’ participation were also exercised. This
is to avoid misdirection or false information about some aspects of the research, whether in
individuals’ contributions to the work and its reporting. Hence, the author explicitly signified
sufficient participation in the study and took full responsibility and accountability of its
content.
