⃞ Are the overboard discharge valves and sea valves securely closed and lashed? ⃞ Are the blind flanges provided in the overboard discharge/sea valves in place and closed position? ⃞ Are all the scruppers properly plugged and anti-pollution equipment readily placed on deck? ⃞ Are portable wilden pumps,tested to good working order, properly rigged on port and srarboard side With air hose, suction and discharge hoses correctly connected? ⃞ Are all out let and inlet valves of ODME closed? ⃞ Are all valvesof manifolds drain in system closed? ⃞ Are all flanges of manfolds not in used securely bolted in full? ⃞ Are all required reducers correctly fitted at manifold? ⃞ Are the manifold drip tray covers at port and starboard side completely removed and drip pans placed Under the cargo connections? ⃞ Is the stripping system lined up to dry the pump room bilge in emergency? ⃞ Are all P/V valves and Inert Gas System valves ( including inert gas branch valves to cargo oil tanks and Mast Riser valve) correctly set and secured with keys in Responsible Officer’s custody for the loading Operation? ⃞ Has the cargo oil tanks High-High level alarms tested and in “ON “ MODE? ⃞ Are all ullage hole flame screens in place? ⃞ Are the duct vents closed? ⃞ Are all drop line valves on deck open? ⃞ Are all master valves behind drop valves closed? ⃞ Are all pipe lines and valves correctly lined up, ready to receive cargo and being verified by another officer? ⃞ Are all Officers familiar with present loading procedures,including topping off? ⃞ Are all officers and crew familiar with emergency shutdown cargo procedure? ⃞ Are all officers and crew been briefed to carry out inspection of pump room to ensure it is free of oil/water During loading? ⃞ Are the bilge alarms tested before starting operations? ⃞ Are the emergency portablehudraulic pumps readily available at respective designated location?
