The group 3 discussed about the Information Age.

That day I learned a lot of new things that

expanded my knowledge about their topic. That information age is simply a revolution of the
conventional industry to a new era industry characterized by the use of computers. That it has
brought about the growth of many industries and even the innovation of many products and
ideas that seem to make the lives of humans being easier. And that information age is the
backbone of many sectors of the economy without its existence many companies and
industries will not grow. The group also tackled about the timeline of information age which I
found quiet interesting.

Again, myself felt really glad that I acquired new knowledge from this topic of the reporters.
That being human, we crave a purpose of our lives. As a result, we keep making them and
treating them like prizes. As time goes on, what we produced has fulfilled its function. But
what about the harm its caused. Have we produced items that have negatively impacted a
significant portion of our society while continuing to do so? Bill Joy’s article titled “Why the
future does not need us” discusses about the possible future for human race in relation to the
technological advances that are within our reach and comprehension. And that’s only few
from what I’ve learned from the report of the group.
