Reporting Period: 12-Jan-2023 to 11-Feb-2023 (Month 5)

I was allocated to the Microwave Communication and Antenna Division

(MCAD). The following lists the activities I did during this period.

● Measured voltage by choosing each antenna using the GUI and measured
the voltage (V) and voltage across the diode (Vd) while the IRS board is
connected to the RS485 communication module
● Observed the antenna setup for radiation pattern measurement and also
learned the setup procedure to measure the radiation pattern
● Observed how the signal is transmitted and received when the transmitter
module and receiver module are connected to the WiGig evaluation board
● Carried out a paper survey that is related to dual polarized antennas and
asked to design a dual polarized antenna for millimeter wave frequency
● To understand the concept of stacked antenna design principles, designing
a dual polarized wide-band aperture stacked patch antenna for lower
frequencies
