The problem that has been expressed was that the only reason that working from home would

be a challenge is that is the recipient of the remote changes would need internet connection to

perform their tasks attend meetings etc. However, not all individuals have access to internet or

technology which suits the job that should be performed, according to the text about 80% of

Americans have highspeed internet with the rest of the 20% lacking the technology to do so. In

my opinion management operations and technology factors that contributed to this issue were

unknowingly hiring employees which do not fit the requirements. Employees who usually work

these jobs are more likely to be older adults working full-time. However, if a problem arises the

employee will be less likely to get it solved right away being alone as people in the same room

tend to solve a problem quicker.

2. Information technologies driving these changes include broadband high-speed Internet

connections, laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, email, messaging, and videoconferencing

tools. The role that information technologies played was very important as remote work can

only be done with such software and equipment however, the problem which was previously

addressed in question 1 which is not having access to such equipment to begin with would not

be solved due to personal issues. The solution would not be successful as the recipient of the

opportunity would not be able to work as they would need equipment to do so in the first place.

3. As companies start to migrate into remote work from in person, working from home will be the

dominant way of working in the future the reason being as two years have already passed by

since the pandemic began companies had to quickly adopt a new way of working and

communicating through technology, doing so they have realized the cuts that they can make
due to no office etc. As companies continue to do this, they will most likely start accommodating

employees that require equipment as it would be less costly then running and maintaining a

building for work.
