 The Sustainable Development Goals

1. Which goal will your team be working with? Why?

Goal 3: Good health and wellbeing

Because it is a problem that is affecting the poor population of the Dominican

Republic and that is the population that predominates in the country and other
countries, so the hospitals are in a critical state, without machinery, neglected and
without enough personnel.

2. How working with this specific goal can help developing both countries?
Dominican Republic and another country.

Our country in many of its public hospitals does not have the necessary supplies and
work equipment or in proper conditions due to the high cost of these.

Because of this, one of the biggest problems we face, and many other low-income
countries, is having a high number of deaths due to the lack of instruments in
hospitals and good health support for the poor population.

3. List at least 3 ideas to be developed in your action plan.

Create groups of volunteers to help sanitize hospitals

Create training for doctors regarding the problem of cancer because there is not
enough preparation in this area.

Repairs of installations and machinery by governments.
