“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.” ” ― Norman Vincent Peale Christmas was celebrated in a grand manner in the school campus of Manava Bharati India International School, New Delhi with gaiety. The schools wore a festive look. Teachers and young students dressed up in white and red. The young Manavites presented carols and entertained the senior students and staff. The programme began with the Pre-School children announcing their 'Joy to the World', and was followed by the Pre-Primary performance put up a feisty dance number to "King is born in Bethlehem", and were brilliantly followed by the children of Grade I & II, who performed an action song to 'I am the Happiest Christmas Tree' and ‘Joy to The World’. The children sang in very festive mood ‘Jingle Bells’ and danced to the numbers like ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’ etc. The whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the students. The show was a rocking song-and-dance performance. Santa Claus attracted the attention of the audience. It was an immense pleasure for students when they received gifts from the Santa Claus. The Santa Clause arrived and filled the entire crowd with joy and danced with everyone with great enthusiasm. On this occasion the teachers and students organised a small fair for all the students where they participated in games and enjoyed sumptuous food. The whole school echoed with the holy hymns recited by the students. The School Chairman Capt. V.K Pandey, the school Director Ms. Bharati Pandey wished everyone Merry Christmas and the school Principal Ms. Mithlesh Chaudhari appreciated the wonderful performance put up by the students.
