CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Bhaskaracharya International School & Junior College Chalisgaon
celebrated Children’s day on the 29th November, 2023, with great festive fervor, to
commemorate the 130th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began
with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by informative and inspirational
speech by Mr. Salman Pathan about the great leader, thinker, visionary and a true statesman –
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The first Prime Minister of independent India was extremely fond
of children and the programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion with teachers
holding the stage and putting up a mesmerizing cultural show for the children. After the
thought for the day, Honourable Vice-Principal Mrs. Kavita Shinde ma’am presented a
informative and inspirational speech. Through a speech rich tributes were paid to Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru, who is known for his relentless efforts in increasing awareness of the
rights, care and education of children. The following cultural programme had a series of
interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously for complete
entertainment. Teachers of the Preprimary section and Primary section enthralled the
audience with their energetic and graceful moves with their traditional dance. Students
pulsated with excitement when their teachers presented a dance. Students were elated to see
their teachers performing and celebrating the day with zeal and enthusiasm. Honourable Shri.
S. N. Walke President of Chalisgaon Civil Court greeted the children warmly on the special
day. He compared the children to beautiful blossoms and motivated them to spread their
fragrance everywhere. He also reminded the students of the extraordinary sacrifices made by
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and asked the students to keep him as an idol in all their endeavors
in the interactive session students respond him with very enthusiasm. All the teaching and
non-teaching staff of Bhaskaracharya International School & Junior College Chalisgaon
gives valuable support on this occasion, anchoring is done by Mr. Salman Pathan and Vote of
thanks delivered by Mrs. Priyanka Gaherwar. It was a day full of joy and laughter for the
students.
