1. WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT YOU LEARNED ON OUR SUBJECT?

(AT LEAST 3
PARAGRAPHS)

As the first semester ends, I have discovered a lot of things that help me understand our
religion better. There are three topics that are memorable to me. These are Dignity,
Freedom, and Purgatory.

Firstly, I learned about dignity. It was given to us by God and has been ingrained in us. It
will never be destroyed, regardless of your religion, gender, socioeconomic status, or
religious beliefs. We also talk about respect, which can be earned. While learning about this
topic, I realized that some people who have power abuse it. Since having a high position can
deceive other people, it makes them respect people who do not deserve it. It also applies to
how younger people are unable to stand up for themselves because talking back to
someone older than them is considered disrespectful. Secondly, being responsible for our
actions, even though we have freedom, Having freedom does not mean we can do whatever
we want. There is still a limit. We should always expect that there will be a consequence for
every action that we take. Especially if it has an impact on other people. Lastly, purgatory is
a divine gift. It shows that God loves us. I also imagined it to be a terrifying place where
people would have to stay indefinitely due to their sins. But I was mistaken. Purgatory is a
beautiful place created by God for us to be cleansed of our sins.

In conclusion, the religion subject is fun and interesting. There are many things I want to
learn more about religion. I'm hoping that this subject will still be part of the second
semester.
