Research Approach

A quantitative comparative research design will be used for the study.

The study's collected data and information will be compared to
determine whether fermented banana juice and fermented water
spinach juice have an impact on the growth of mung beans. In two
months, the recording will be finished.

Research subject

The mungbeans planted in the garden of Grade 12 students who

specialize in agriculture are the study's subjects. To find out which
organic fertilizer encourages the growth of mung bean, the plant's
seeds will be exposed to two different types of organic fertilizer.

Data GATHERING

we will approach the school principal for approval before beginning the
study. we will ask Mr. Gerardo B. Lacay, Jr. for permission to use the
garden area and the fermented banana juice after receiving consent.
The supplies needed for the planting of mungbeans will then be
prepared by the researchers. The mungbean will be planted by the
researchers as soon as they have it, and two different organic fertilizers
will be applied to the plants. Fermented banana juice will be given to
the first group, while fermented water spinach juice will be given to the
other group. To determine which of the two organic fertilizers would be
more effective, both groups will have their growth monitored on a
weekly basis.
Plan analysis

The statistical method that will be employed in this investigation,

particularly in examining the outcomes of the comparison between the
two varieties of fermented juice used in the study, is the Spearman
Rho. This gauges the dependent variable's reliance. Also, standard
deviation is utilized to calculate how many cups of fermented banana
juice and fermented water spinach juice will be used to test the
effectiveness on the vigna radiata or mungbean growing performance.

The Spearman’s Rho Formula

Where rs can take values from +1 to -1

 rs of +1 indicates a perfect positive or perfect association of the

ranks

 rs of 0 indicates no association between ranks

 rs of -1 indicates a perfect negative or perfect negative association of

the ranks

Where:

X=data items in rank 1

Y=data items rank 2

X=mean of the rank 1

Y=mean of the rank 2

∑=summation or the sum

√=square of the root
