We often had 10 or more pies donated which increased
our profits. All pies were sold except for one Tuesday,
when two pieces were remaining. These were donated
to the kitchen staff. There was an increase in volume of
attendees to Hot Dogs which boosted the demand for
our pies. Our profit this year was the best in my
memory.Plans for 2024:
The schedule will reflect an increase in pies to be baked
from eight to ten starting with the second dessert day in
January. Ladies from outside the GC often donate, so we
should end up with ten to twelve pies.
The number of workers is adequate, so no change.
New tablecloths were purchased and will be changed
often.
lam requesting all pie bakers to please bake their pies
early in the day with at least a two hour cooldown. It
\s very difficult to cut a warm pie without it running all
over.
A suggestion was made to donate any leftover pieces of
pie to SL shut-ins. A list of eligible people will be made at
our first meeting in 2024.
This has been a great year. Thanks to everyone who
baked or worked. It has been fun working with all of you.
Respectfully, ;
Pet Sate. f ad
