Garden Club Committee

Name of Committee: Memorial Garden

Purpose:
Honor deceased residents of Silver Lakes by overseeing all activities
related to the Memorial Garden

Meetings:
As needed, usually in March.

Tasks:
1. Utilize all methods available to raise awareness of the
Memorial Garden.
2. Assist families/friends in ordering commemorative bricks.
3. Place order, facilitate payment and receive orders.
4. Arrange for installation of bricks.
5. Periodically plan and carry out a memorial service to
recognize those who are honored there.
6. Work with Garden Club Co-Chairs and Resort Manager to
maintain a quiet, respectful atmosphere in the Garden.
7. Prepare and submit a year-end report.
